I heart NY

i do more prints than Kinko's do

A 7 year old just called me an "LA'er". I love how that little smarty pants can play with the words and it sounds awesome. it's obviously because of the outfits I wear here in NY. Too colorful perhaps:) I reflect my inner mood through the colors I guess. I couldn't be happier. I am so lucky to be spending time with old friends from all over the world.

I have this method of wearing 2 prints together. Firstly, they need to be in the same color palette. Secondly, one of the prints should slightly be smaller than the other one. So they compliment each other without competing too much. And it's easier on the eye ;) It goes the same way with the home decoration. 

I know you like the cupcakes at Magnolia Bakery like another 1 billion people but I bet you will change your mind after you try the banana pudding. Not everyone knows about it but i got some good foodie friends obviously. 

Empire State of Dreams

Here I am on the plane, connected to the world on my iPad! On my way to the Big Apple!! I am so excited. Haven't realized I have so many friends there till I posted it on Facebook and Instagram. Lime Green Dreams

I am into these long sleeve-above the knee-extra tight dresses that snugs your body lately. I am glad they are everywhere. When I see them I choose the extra zero size lol tighter the better if you get the idea. Of course you need to be aware of your body type. It helps that I am petite with a little bit of curves in the right places.
The color is a plus! It looks yellow but it's lime green actually. Kind of on the neon side.

Met my girlfriend at a cafe to study. What a great idea! Cos It was packed so we just had lunch and showed us the way back to our car. 

Is it weird I've been obsessed with purple lately. and it's not even on purpose, i promise.

PS. I'm watching "He's not that into you" right now so I might be writing some non sense. But this movie is ironically true story.

Nail Art Craziness

Lately, nail trends are running wild with all the designs and color combinations. That's why I felt the urge to gather some inspiration on nail art. Who knew tapes, scissors and art brushes would be involved in nail grooming process? I made a little research on the brushes. You can get them at Sally's or simply at eBay or Amazon. Just be cautious with the cheap sellers from China. Those brushes tend to lose its quality pretty fast. Before you purchase, make sure you read the reviews. Don't get encouraged if your first try doesn't come out good enough. Only practise makes better.
